Moog:
I just came across the following - https://fr.audiofanzine.com/rack-analog ... sirin.html
The Sirin board in the included is an old Minitaur board.
Are you repackaging old boards (with a small software change) as a new product?
If so, why is there no mention of this in your marketing material?
Thanks
Sirin Circuit Board = Old Minitaur Stock?
Re: Sirin Circuit Board = Old Minitaur Stock?
The Sirin has expanded frequency range in the oscillators.
Due to the inherent hardware limits of linear v/hz oscillators used in the Minitaur/Sirin, you can't expand the range with software.
Since you can't expand the range without changing hardware components, it is highly unlikely they are old Minitaur boards.
Lighten up, the sky is not falling. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
