"Sirin" Pronunciation ?
So, this might seem silly, but I've been hearing a couple different pronunciations of "Sirin" and I'm curious which is correct. I've been saying "Sigh-rin", while I've heard others says "Seer-in". My mind can't let rest both pronunciations, so any idea which is correct?

How sure are we about this?
"Sirin is a mythological creature of Russian legends, with the head and chest of a beautiful woman and the body of a bird."
Sirin in this case is definitely not pronounced like police siren.

I thought they were Greek?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siren_(mythology)
oh....the Russian version is spelled "Sirin" ( but is it?? Russian letters are different ), derived from the Greek
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirin
"These half-women half-birds are directly based on the Greek myths and later folklore about sirens"
so question is: how did the Greeks pronounce it?

Interesting point. I guess all we really need is to find someone from Moog and hear them say it. haha
I have yet to see any video online where the name is actually said by a Moog employee.
