Minitaur range

Looking at the -24 in global menu - is this as low as we go?

I can’t seem to get VCO 1 to the low octave (I.e the detuned -12 VCO 2 pitch)

Do I need a new controller with an octave down shift button or is it true with all these wonderful features that you can’t even get a low B.....?

What kind of controller you are using?
(From Minitaur's specs: OSCILLATOR CALIBRATION RANGE: 22Hz-6.8KHz. Note range at 8’ = 0 - 72)

That interesting because the T3 can stretch into subaudio range over MIDI. We're talking below 20hz.

Does it have something to do with the power supply on the T3? I remember hearing Steve talk about (or reading about) the lack of range in the MT being caused by the fact that the power supply is wall wart style with a minimalistic rectifier circuit on the Minitaur board meanwhile (I suppose) the T3 has more of a traditional power supply.

I don't know enough about electronics to know if this makes sense but you probably do.
