MT knobs not working when editor plugged in

Hi, Just recently bought a Minitaur and have managed to get it talking with Sonar and Windows 10.
One thing I've noticed is that if I select a preset from the editor I can adjust the knobs on the screen, but not the hardware. Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed? I would like to be able to adjust the sound in real time from the hardware as opposed to the software as it's just not as intuitive on screen. and just use the editor to store presets.

Can it be that Sonar is sending "local control off" message to your MTR upon start up? Please check: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation? ... ck.35.html
