Minitaur not recognized by mac
Minitaur not recognized by mac
Hi there! I have an issue connecting newly purchased Minitaur to mac. USB cable itself works. Audio MIDI Setup does not recognize Minitaur as an audio device. So I don't see device to choose in SysEx Librarian and also cannot find it recognized by mac. Maybe someone has an idea of what to check?

The minitaur isn't an AUDIO device. Only a USB midi. No audio is sent over the USB.

Hey there.
Am having the same issue. Did you find a solution?
I tried to update it via midi and the Sysex thingy but now it`s stuck in "update mode" with lights flashing and can`t even use it.
But before it worked fine. Only it never showed up in Sysex Editor. Only i Live i could use it normaly via Usb. Go figure...
Re: Minitaur not recognized by mac
It should show up in SysEx Lib dropdown simply as "In" ...Select that and follow the update procedure. This took me a bit to figure out but now works flawlessly.
And yes, it is not an Audio device, just a MIDI device so you will not see it in any Coreaudio options.
Hope this helps!
