Trouble with minitaur and Logic Pro X (10.2.4)

Post by kaerone88 » Tue Oct 04, 2016 10:21 pm

Hey guys

Just about every time I record on a external instrument track in Logic the last note I played in the minitaur gets stuck and keeps playing. Only way I can get it to stop is to either change the patch in the plug-in or delete and create a new external instrument track. I have the latest version of the firmware installed.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I have this problem too - any ideas welcome as to how it can be fixed. Is it a OS Sierra issue maybe?

Thanks for any help !

I also get hanging notes in 10.2.4
And no way to stop them without something drastic (I unplug the power :( )

I've looked at the output of MIDI Monitor ("spy on output to destinations"), and Logic appears to be emitting a spray of wrong/random notes, when this happens... that's what's causing a stuck note on the Minitaur.

There is a non-drastic solution, which is to hold the Minitaur GLIDE button while turning the Amplifier SUSTAIN knob to zero. This turns off stuck notes.

Still looking into what is the real source of the weird note output from Logic.
