I've been reading the manual over and over and cannot even get the System Utilities function to show up.
All I want to do is restore my factory presets.
In the manual it asks me to push the Cursor button to access the Systems Utility screen It's doing everything but...
Even when I turn off and on again it won't restore.
Please help.
Thanks.

Re: Factory Restore HELP
I don't think the factory reset actually restores the patches, it just resets all the global parameters I think. You can re-install the 1.13 factory presets from a file contained in the latest software update:
Mac:
http://seamslikereality.com/moog/Taurus ... 12_OSX.zip
PC:
http://seamslikereality.com/moog/Taurus ... 12_WIN.zip
If you still want to try it, the procedure is as follows, step by step:
1. Press "Master" button
2. Turn "Value" knob anti-clockwise one notch to reach the "System Utilities" menu
3. Press the "Cursor" button to access the sub menus
4. Turn "Value" knob clockwise four notches until you reach "Restore Factory"
5. Hit the "Store" button
6. Turn the "Value" knob one notch clockwise to confirm "Yes"
7. Hit "Store" again to restore
Also, I made individual factory presets available if that's any use to you:

Re: Factory Restore HELP
Thank you. I'll try that. I was trying to get the Arpeggiator to work (which I have yet to do) and seemed to have gotten everything all balled up.

Also the arpeggiator got broken in one of the updates as I remember, so make sure you have the new firmware.
Just noticed your sig - I was playing Lamb just today, must have been a sign

That worked. I didn't hit the Master function first.
Thank you again.

Ahhhh.... The Lamb....I actually saw that tour/concert at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in January of 1975.
That one single concert forever changed my whole approach to music. I am a HUGE Genesis fan. 1968 - 1975 of course.
Yes that was indeed a sign.....

OT I just bought a beautiful Rickenbacker bass because I love the Genesis/Yes sound - Rutherford/Squire are my fave bassists (hence also the Taurus purchase, naturally). Wish I'd been old enough the see them tour before Gabriel left.

That's the double-edge sword of age.....
I lost count of how many great bands I saw at places like the Whisky A-Go-Go in the early 70's before they became household names.....good times. I'm just happy to have gotten out of my youth alive.
