Octave Range on the Minitaur?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but

I can't see it going past 6 octaves, as the log-response of the VCO would mean you'd quickly run into unmanageable voltages:

E.g. Low C = -11V

Unless there was non-standard tracking or some other trickery going on.
