Seriously? Wow, if that's true, then great news that they haven't forgotten about it!

. Probably I won't have a chance to update the MP201 until some time next year, but I'll plan to do it when I can.
This PM was recieved mid october (2014) ! I really hope that V3 will see the light of the day this year...

And he told us more or less the same about some Taurus3 updates some time ago.

But like all other companies, Moog's managers are rather pushing all their stuff, including Amos, in releasing new products then fixing the errors in older products. And the new products will have errors too and the next NAMM will show us new products ...
They will never find the time to fix the last 1% in a 99% working product.
This is the problem of todays commercial short term thinking and shareholder value versus longterm product running and life cycle.

I have seen worse bugs in products of other companies. Moog is for sure way above the average in terms of quality of their instruments including their software.
But I have seen way more SysEx documentation available for other companies synths.

I would _love_ to see the Moog MP201 SysEx documentation to get someone into programming an editor for the iPad and/or PC/Mac.

Just received one from Ebay yesterday. I would love to see some more features from an update, but it sure seems highly unlikely. Have they ever done updates before for things they discontinue? And 4 years since the last update was released. Can it possibly be true that there will be a version 3 firmware?

I could be wrong, but didn't they come out with a Little Phatty update after it was discontinued?

Yep another plus one. I had one and ended up selling it. I'd love one to use with my S37. it needs some sort of midi-cv.
