Or...I could buy a hardware sequencer
it syncs great with my Alesis HR16b. I think the key is to be sure your drum machine is transmitting MTC (midi time code)and SPP (song position pointer). I know on my Alesis I can turn that on and off from a menu. Maybe your box has similar?

Amos,

If you get time for a mini update can we PLEASE iron out a bug in the current set up...

It was mentioned in another thread but should be listed here I think. When using an LFO and and LFO off is set to 'Initial', it sometimes reverts to current when you turn off. I had an amazing groove slipping in and out of a tremolo sound using this in the cutoff of my LPF but had to stop using it as every 5th or 6th time I tap the footswitch off the LPF would not return to it's initial value, it'd be at one end of the LFO's sweep! Even the light on the footswitch was illuminated differently. Is there a known confusion between the 'Initial' and 'Current' settings in within the LFO section?

Triplets, triplets, triplets.
I can't stand the sight of the damn thing since I realised they weren't there.
Seriously, It's been so long I've pretty much lost hope and I'd sell the thing if I wouldn't lose so much cash on it.
Just a triplet update, PLEASE!

@ digbysellers: We should post this remark each and every day...

Here's something I would really appreciate in V3:
With the midi-CV function that is presently featured, you can controll four different destinations in a quad-monophonic manor. I would like the ability to controll four sources in a polyphonic manor, ie. hooking the CV-outputs up with one oscilator each and being able to play it as a polyphonic synthesizer. I don't know the code in the mp201, but i can't imagine that this would be a difficult feature to program.

I have a thought for future software...

The ability to set a midway reversal within the 0-4095 range. Basically an on/off option that will change your pedal swell to reach the set toe value at half way through the swell, then go back to the heel position.

EG. Setting the expression to be heel 0 and toe 4095. As you swell the treadle it would go from 0 at the heel to 4095 and then back to 0 at the toe.

On its own this may sound pointless - as you could move the pedal up and back down again however when controlling 2 CV inputs at once it becomes an amazing concept. To be able to speed up an LFO controlling my LPF going from slow to fast from 1 CV and at the same time having the frequency of my ring modulator start slow and speed up in time with the LFO but then start to slow back down as the LFO continues to speed.

I think it would open up some major new ideas and sounds.

faster LFO's
Footpedal to scale CV ( 1-5 octaves) major minor and more scales ( programable )
cv in extension ( gate and CV)

there should be an easier way to copy a preset to a different location. Right now it takes me way too long to get the cursor to go "up" and change the destination, then get it to go back "down" so I can save.
Probably not possible but;
a higher volts output, like 7.5 or 10 would be great.
Some more options for the free running LFO that allow it to display in BPM rather than volts.
Ditto for the LFO. If the LFO could be changed to read interval value rather than volts. EG +3rd, +4th +m5th.
Din sync instead of midi?

a LFO waveform controller like the wave pod on Voyager and FreqBox
and a lfo tempo division seperator 1.only triplets 2. only dots 3. only 8,4,2,1,1/2,1/4,1/8,1/16,1/32,1/64
for midi tempo pedal change.
and unipolar bipolar mode for a channel, not global
hope the MP ??? will come soon

When in midi-to-CV mode and glide mode is active, being able to control the glide rate with the expression pedal.

I am just curious if the development on this box is EOL?
If so is there any possibility of open sourcing it? I am talentless hack when it comes to coding, but I can read a few types of code, and am experienced with bug testing.
I think it is a mind blowing device that not enough people grasp the possibilities of. I actually hardly even use the pedal part!

I hope the development is not EOL. I would like to get this pedal eventually. Hopefully there is a replacement in development which could run on the same firmware and consist of similar hardware. Considering how many people use it on a table top, it might make more sense to have a box with a jack for an external pedal. But perhaps this is a niche product.

Midi LFO more midi clock bars 5,6,7, 9 up to 32
more random waveforms
channel cloning
