MP-201 freezing

Posted: Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:55 am
Wrote to Moog, but I am trying my luck here as well.
Didn't get a reply yet.
So yeah, my MP-201 suddenly froze.
As I turn it on, it gets stuck on the opening screen saying the name of the product and the OS version no. etc.
What do I do?

Is there anyway to do a system reset or anything from this position? all lights are on in this situation. nothing moves.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nitzan.

Check the PSU. Maybe it is a bit off the specs.

It's the PSU I ordered a few years back from Moog.
I needed a European one (seller sent it with an american one), so I bought it straight from Moog's website, when it was still available.
I used the MP-201 with this PSU for a few good years now.
This just happened.
I heard it might be the fact both Midi and Midi USB were connected physically. can it be?

Would love more advice on this....

Thanks till.

Hi,
did you get it fixed? Did Moog answer you?

It looks like I have quite similar problem: https://youtu.be/Fl1i4KGgGzA

It happens no matter which power supply I use, and which firmware update, or if I plug USB/midi cables or not.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
