Mp-201 lfo and expression modes

Post by TimeEchoProductions » Thu Oct 22, 2015 11:40 pm

Hi, I tried to search for this answer and couldn't find it.
I don't have the mp-201 but I have been keeping an eye out
For one if I can get a decent deal.

I want to know if the 4 channels can be doing different things
Such as having some do LFO while other channels are in expression pedal mode.
I got the impression from the manual that lfo mode makes all
Four channels lfos, I am hoping that is not true.

Thanks,
Tim

Each channel can have a different function, or not. LFO, noise, expression, gate, envelope, MIDI-to-CV.

Basically, you can run the pedal in two modes.
In single mode, one channel at a time is controlled by the expression pedal and switches allow you to toggle on/off the current channel and switch channels.
In quad mode, each footswitch toggles on/off a channel (or trig a gate or envelope if in those modes), and the expression pedal can control either the four channels or the last that was switched on –this is a configuration parameter.
