When updating my mp-201 to version 2.1, all presets exept SGL00 have artifacts instead of certain letters, allways on the right side of the screen. The pedal does not seem to be working properly either.

Did you follow the correct steps after updating your firmware ?
From the manual (Mac version) :
After the MP-201 firmware installation and re-start, turn off the MP-201 and
close SysEx Librarian. Turn on the MP-201 again and re-open SysEx Librarian.
Now select the file “MP201_vxxxx_presets.syx” and click Play in SysEx Librarian.
Watch the MP-201 display; you should see “SYSEX FACTORY PRESETS.”
This is very quick, so keep a close eye on it. If you do not see the FACTORY
PRESETS message on the LCD, contact Moog tech support immediately.
Go to the MP-201 Utilities Menu and select Restore Factory; choose Yes.
Also on the Utilities Menu, choose Calibrate Foot Pedal and follow the instructions.
Finished! Read the Firmware Addendum, and enjoy all the new features.

I did follow the instructions, allthough they were windows instructions, since i use windows and not osx.
I still get the same error.
