Faulty mp-201 ?

Post by BobTheDog » Tue Nov 02, 2010 4:53 am

Hi Guys,

I have a new MP-201 here and am having some issues.

Sometimes when you turn it on the lights light up but nothing is displayed on the screen. Turning if off and on a few times gets it to start in the end.

The Mac sometimes complains that the pedal is drawing too much power and disables it!

I have tried multiple usb leads, hubs, ports etc.

Has anyone else seen this with there pedal or do we think mine is faulty?

Thanks for any help

Andy

Even worse when set to a 1V pitch output, a C over 5 octaves produces:

0.008
1.035
2.058
3.082
4.104
4.999

It just isn't right!

Setting the CV Scale to 0.976 produces a correct 1v/Oct output!
