Found this on my local Craigs list. Thought it amusing.

if thats real it was probably stolen or something.

I think its disgusting how the rapists will try to charge someone 200 dollars for anything that has the Moog name on it.

Im suprised that the Andy Moog rookie card isn't worth more money!

At this point, if one wanted to go lower, they would steal the toilet paper from the factory bathrooms.

Oddly enough, having a Moog carpet would be awesome hahahah.

Can you please not throw the word "rapist" around when you really mean "opportunist" or "unabashed capitalist"? Thanks. :)

OnTopic: I like the carpet. :)

Actually, it was given to the guy who is selling it by Bob. He has a bunch of memerabilia from Asheville.

Really? Cool. :)
Now that I think about it, getting a custom carpet like that made can't be cheap, so it's probably worth the asking price.

Bob was one generous man. Too bad people don't appreciate him enough they have to take advantage of his kindness in such ways.

I don't know that respect has that much to do with it one way or the other.
One can't assume what that guy is thinking or how bad his needs are.

For example, Bob gave me Moogerfooger LPF #11 (I think it was that s/n.)
Later I sold it.
I needed the money, I didn't need a LPF and have never had any desire to collect things.
The person I sold it to also knew Bob, played Moogs and put it to good use.

I think Bob intended his works to be used and enjoyed, not collected or worshipped.
To me that's much more respectful: putting the toolmaker's tools to use.
Point is: My appreciation of Bob's generosity was never sold and for all we know that fellow cherishes that rug, but needs to make his car payment.

I'm going with Kevin on this one. Obviously, we don't know the whole story on why he's selling his rare Moog rug. We also shouldn't judge on his asking price as it is a very rare item. I'VE never seen one before...anyone else seen one? Or owned one? Just saying...if it were me, I'd be asking $5,000 for it so I could fix my roof.
