Hello Steve,
Mmm, have you tried creating a CIRCLE in Excel (though admittedly I only have OFFICE 2007)!? They seem to have plenty of OCTAGONS, POLYGONS, but not CIRCLES! I never tried in WORD though, so you may be correct in that it can perform this task.
I thought that having a DIGITAL version would also be convenient for SHARING my self-creations online with others/forums (rather than having to go through SCANNING the documents back in again!).
Anyway, those are my thoughts for now and I appreciate your input.
Paul

My thought would be to put the picture in Excel and then uses a set of fields to type the values into.
I think adding numbers on top of an image would be possible too, do it in word and "arrange" the image -"send to back" or something like that. Maybe set the image as a watermark. Then you could type all over it.
Pencil beats software here I'm afraid.

Thanks Steve, those are all quite possibly possible possibilities!

Hi,
I think GIMP 2.8 seems to be the best way forward. Plus it is FREE!
I have been able to manipulate what I want so far (although of course I am only starting out and may hit a brick wall as I advance [hopefully!] onto more intricate tasks).
Cheers,
Paul

Oh no, I didn't! This was made by Moog themselves, for the current production of the Model D.
You'll notice you have the new parameters which the old edition does not have.
Enjoy!
