67-ish Foot Controller wiring

Post by revmutt » Wed Jun 17, 2009 5:56 pm

I'm restoring a set of these http://apu.ph.k12.in.us/drew/pedals.JPG which were used on some early Moog systems, right after the groovy 3 way ones. I plan to use them with my modular.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on my electronics but I believe this will work:

6 pin Cinch Jones connector:
1. +15v
2. Ground
3. -15v
4. Pitch
5. Null
6. Trigger

My plan, if this is right is to wire up the pots +/- on the outside, center ground and out put to a pair of mono quarter inch jacks as + and ground.

Thanks.

I do believe this will allow me to plug into some extra connectors I have on my modular for ribbons and joysticks. It should also be able to be powered by my Mini or Micro

"Xpandrew" ?

The website you referenced was "Xpandrew"'s webpage. Sorry for the mistaken identity.

Oh, sorry about that confusion. Nope I am actually not him.

The pedals I have are like the ones in the picture but are not them.
I should have made that whole bit more clear.
