Post by HB3 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 11:46 pm

And I hate it, hate it, hate it.

What a bummer.

I mean, look at the size of that thing. It may as well be a Phatty on a stick.

There was a comment on there that read "This was the first polyphonic keytar ever" the liberation was semi-poly right?

Hey that thing woudl sound really killer with the Fantom engine.

As soon as you buy it, HB they will come out with a newer and cheaper version.

Mark me word.

As I recall it shared a sound engine with the Realistic MG-1. The poly function was pretty crappy...sounded like a dying Farfisa. Actually, my dying Farfisa probably sounds better than the MG-1 in poly mode.

Keytar, wassat?
I have a small collection of remotes. Two of them are Moogs!

Casio AZ-1 still my favorite, has the most controllable bender.
I wish the Liberation I have, had the wheel instead of the ribbon. :(
That was a strange option?

CZ, where do you keep your keytars and everything else in your house? It must be pretty crowded there, what with all the gear.

Big house. on a large lot. Even though I did not really want to, I just had to get rid of some things I wasn't using as much anymore. I was sad to see it all go, but got rid of most of the chairs, a table, and the couch. Plenty of room now for more synthesizers!
Just added another remote the other day!

With its scimitar-like shape, maybe they can also market this as the first keytar that can decapitate unbelievers in a single stroke.

I'd rather use it to chop wood or shovel snow myself.
