Pretty cool! Do you have a custom lighting scheme on your LP? It looks like the knob lights are white, and the red lights look pink. :?

I have a custom lighting scheme...check out my New YouTube Video thread in the LP forum.

BTW...the wheel lights are super easy to switch out...of course, I am working on a circuit to make them change colors while I play, which complicates things a bit.

Woah, What's that fancy light-box thingo in the video?

Obviously a sequencer of some kind... how does it work?

Looks confusing.

That's his monome. I'm not sure how it works, but you can Google it, and visit the official site. It's a strange thing with a lot of uses...if you know how to work it. :?

monome.org

its an open source music interface

it involves programming mostly in max/msp5 but also some ChucK and python

Sequencers/samplers/midi instruments/dj mixers/the door is open for anything and everything

so... basically its a box with buttons and leds. and then there is a huge library of different applications and edits of those applications that you can download for free. they come in 3 sizes as well.. i have the small one. but the small one gets powered by usb(rather then seperate power cord). But the small one (64) also has accelerometers in it that allow you to send tilt data to the software or seperate VST's for effects. very cool.

MLR is one of the first programs made for the monome by the monome's creator Brian Cabtree (tehn). It is a sample/slicer program that allows live input, has reverse options, pattern recorders, and much more! It is one of the main programs i like to use.

ps. also an incredible community of people (one of the best i've ever found)
