Hello...
I'm in the process of restoring a moog prodigy i picked up on ebay. It has a little problem that i would love to advice on...
There are two notes that when i press the key the trigger the sound and when i release the key they also trigger the sound? Does anyone know the likely cause and the solution to this missfiring on the way up?
Cheers in advance,
Rob.
Note retriggering on key up.

Wow this is an old thread by me
I actually solved this problem by taking the Prodigy apart and cleaning the key contacts following these instructions:

It works like a dream now!
Such a great sound

Re: Note retriggering on key up.
The Prodigy has tiny metal contacts that are easily bent. The first time I turned mine on after cleaning, one note was stuck on because its contact was slightly bent. I had to disassemble again to figure this out. Plays like a dream now, just like new.
So when you clean, be careful not to bend the contacts that touch the strip .

Sound advice. They are paper thin!
