I thought this would be an appropriate place to post since the subject is indeed MOOG: "In a Moog Mood? Here's a forum for discussion of general Moog topics." I suppose we did discuss it... albeit quite briefly.
I'm sure there are/will be posts by folks looking for old MOOG analogue synths, so I thought I'd give the great folks in this forum a shot to own a classic MOOG synth in great condition.

BEWARE enay minimoog auction: Public Service Announcement
Now I'm glad that I posted here originally. You'll find this same item up for auction again by a different seller, now it's item #2573191737.
But check it out... I have verified with the buyer that he still has the minimoog, and it's not the seller in this auction!
This seller doesn't even have this item. He wasn't even smart enough to change the item description, he used my words verbatim. It still says that I bought it from AMS, made mods and my reasons for selling it.
A very observant moog enthusaist brought it to my attention and I figured this would be a good place to try to get out the word. If you are the person who has placed a bid on it, then retract it. If you're thinking about bidding on it, then don't!
His location says San Diego, then his description says he's in the UK, but his reply to my email came from Italy. I have reported this con artist to ebay, so hopefully the listing will disappear quite soon.
