Rick Wakeman is easily my favorite. I still cant get over the solo sections he does in South Side of the Sky, on the Yes 35th Anniversary Concert on the Tsongas DVD!!

Dont worry about trying to get wakeman to do a show, try and get Yes to tour again! :P

(there are rumours that they are to tour next year to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Yes fans can only hope!)

Ouch. Too difficult! Favourites?

KEYBOARDISTS:

Rick Wakeman, (first heard 7 wives as a boy in 1980)

Stevie Wonder,

Rick Wright (his playing to me is so sublime)

SYNTHESISTS:

Brian Eno

Ed Wynne (Ozric Tentacles)

Geir Jennsen (Biosphere)

Dave Greenslade (because of the Pentateuch -
the first ever synth sounds I heard as a boy in 1980)

Pete Namlock

I pretty much like anybody that can still play once the power has been shut off.

Moogs don't sound very good when the power is off.

Some non-keyboardist/synthesists who can still play with the power off>

Tom Scott - Lyricon driver through Moog Modular 12 (woodwinds)
Mark Isham - Moog Modular 12, Oberheim 4 voice (trumpet/keyboards)
Michael Brecker - Steiner EWI though Oberheim Expander (saxophone)

Michael Brecker will have some problems still, considering he died earlier this year :(
