Can anyone provide a review of the Moog Modular software offered on the site? Thanks!

Thanks, I downloaded the demo from Arturia. What a blast!

I still don't get why Moog decided to lend their name to this product. I do own a copy, but I wouldn't exactly call it living up to the name. Good softsynth, but definintive Moog? No.

The thing that I don't like about it is that you can't touch it. The sound is actually pretty good. There are still some aliasing artifacts, but there is a LOT you can do with it. It will do things that no Moog Modular could ever do.
If it was a real live machine in front of me, I would probably sell my soul to have it.

I've been playing with the demo for about a week. It doesn't sound bad. Maybe the next step is for a portable unit, with keys. Who wants to play live with a computer on stage? :?

I've had the product since the weekend and I'm starting to get the hang of it. There are a couple of bugs in it, but nothing major. Online support seems to be fairly helpful.

This thing is too much! It's got some nice presets, which I stay away from as a general rule, but what a great place to start.

I'm looking forward to a Sample & Hold feature as well as some other improvements. It's nice to be able to build interesting sounds any time and then use them later in the studio.

I've created three presets for mmv at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/moogmodularv/files/

Arturia just posted three of my presets on their website:
