I love my minimoog voyager old school and my foogers!
There is almost nothing i compose where I don’t use it!
Here is for example the with the mf101 in the loop for drive and 2 pole filtering. On the bass there is the minifooger delay and the clusterflux with the Origin Cali76tx (big sound). Everything is recorded on my mpc and gopro no post production. https://youtu.be/oFtiCqVjlp8
And on my bandcamp the VOS is featured everywhere https://johanneshallstrom.bandcamp.com/album/wired-ep
I’m a bass player and at first i sold my pedals and bought a sub37 for synth bass duties. After having trouble with two sub37 and a regular voyager I bought the VOS and it has been a wonderful ride ever since! Such a soulful instrument! Since then I’ve got a lot of foogers and soon I’ll get the MP-201 to complete my moogular setup
Now I’m looking a little at the Matriarch to bring some paraphony to my Moog corner.
I love my Voyager Old School!

nice!!
that was a great lead sound on the Voyager, did you have filter cutoff mapped to the mod wheel?
the MF101 was static, correct? or did you have it modulating filter as well?

Thanks! I did only use the mf101 2pole filter for this actually. It’s really bringing another sound to the voyager. Especially with the drive!

And yes the mod wheel is cv mapped to the mf101 cutoff via the vx-351.
Re: I love my Voyager Old School!
ah, I see....I assumed you were only using the drive on the MF101
check this out: Don Solaris posted an article explaining how to get those extra filter pole options, on the Voyager old school:

Yeah! I’m gathering courage to make that mod. Actually I’m thinking about that there might be a way to use the empty slots on the vx351 (the touch pad outputs) so that I won’t need to drill in to the VOS.
But I’m no electronics guy so I’ll have to leave that to a professional.
Still, I don’t want to jinx this wonderful synth!
I love the sound of low poles though! One of the biggest pleasures, on par with the drive and the paraphony, with the sub37 was the variable pole count. I wonder if it’s possible to mod the Matriarch filters for low poles?
