These guys make sure to hit all the categories from the high-energy Indie/experimental feel of sound, to emo and even dark lyrics, and aren't afraid to be experimental in electronics, keyboard, and even stringed intrument areas!
Slight mention of electronics and keyboards though.

But nothing mentioned about Moog or synths.

just looks like some hacks goofing off... too bad.
if you're going to have a name like that, you really should "bring it".

I don't like this name.
They can play any kind of music ,I don't mind BUT:
O.K. Bob was and IS a famous person and a legend for all of us.
If there 's really a band with this name, and it isn't a bad taste joke,
don't they know that they would offend the Robert Moog's family and relatives?
Yes, very sad.

Well,

If they aren't using Moog gear and are a super low budget band, then it would seem they are somehow trying to say it is good he passed which is disgusting, but may be exactly why they did it. Gotta love ignorant, immature, headstrong males that think they are profound and actaully never will be. Wow, they're so dynamic and progressive...not :?

they should be careful, Dr Robert Moog was an extremely powerful man, and i'm sure that his ghost is even more so, if he's pissed off then they're done for

actually I'm not sure but I think Bob wasn't really into the belief that there were ghosts & all that jazz.....
His whole take on religion was a little different.....and I liked the sound of it........i dunno if it has a name or not....

Everytime I watch the Moog DVD when bob talks about his thoughts on how the music flows from a musician to an instrument at the first Moogfest....then Bernie BUSTS in talking about god and stuff......I was soooo embarassed because Bob wasn't talking about god at all.....it was something completely different......and bernie keeps going on about the holy one......

actually i regret writing this....hope this thread doesnt blow up into some religious war.....

Yup, pretty tasteless name.
WANTED TO BUY:
Old Synthesizers, Effects, Drum Machines, Sequencers, Modules & Studio Gear, *BROKEN OK*. I'm especially interested in older analog / modular synths (Moog, ARP, Buchla, Serge, EMS, EML, Emu, Polyfusion, etc). EMAIL: [email protected]
