Everyone that has done an ebay search for Moog stuff has came across Moog auto parts, Andy Moog Hockey Jerseys and other stuff.

But I Happened to come across this website that talks about onboard flight control systems, defense mechanisms, Space Vehicle controls.

The designer happens to be Named Bill Moog.

Come on people. Im telling you guys.....read my thread about "Moog Philosophy 101" and see for yourself.

WAIT, I remember a thread here about some store in Europe not importing Theremins because the thought they brought down airplanes.

From the website:
"Moog is the world's leading supplier of Control Systems for Launch Vehicles and Strategic Missiles..."

Maybe they were RIGHT :!:

It's all coming together now...

i'm pretty sure, that they all have dutch ancestors.
thats why they're pronounced like 'rouge', except the 'g' sounds more like a 'ch'.

its one big family after all.
we're.

It's funny that Moog gave us control of the Voyager.

Sounds the same to me.

Ha ha ha!!

That was what I was told by the Turkeys at Turnkey!

The UK branch of the Moog company in this thread is about 5 miles from my home in Gloucestershire. As a teenager I assumed all things musical were going on within, but later found that a mate's dad worked there and made boring old electronic control valves for aircraft and racing cars... ;-)

I am told that there is a family connection with Dr. Bob.

They are all cousins, from what I read. I wouldn't be surprised that a family
of so many engineers originally settled in the US as blacksmiths and so on....

I think that we are really on to something here.

Perhaps our society isn't ready yet to know the truth.

Wonder how many of these companies existed in the U.S. before 1968 -- because that's when the public at large first heard about the Moog Synthesizer?

Some borderline irony in that ARP's Alan R. Pearlman designed stuff for NASA before he built synths. Very unlikely, but imagine if this other MOOG company dated back to his NASA days and were business rivals with A.R.P. ;-)

WHen I look at the Micromoog with the Waveshapes and the filter contour's cutoff slopes....it looks like alien writing.

On the DVD when Bob said "We all know thats what Aliens sound like" I was shocked and amused.
