Just a reminder

There is a handy function of the forum software that allows you to hide all posts by specific users.

1. Click on their username
2. On their profile page, click "add as foe"
3. Live your life.
4. Talk about synthesizers.

Regardless of what your views are, about any topic, there will be people that disagree with you. They won't change. You won't change. Especially over the Internet. Just block their posts, and move on.

If only...

Unfortunately, it doesn't block all the responses from people who you don't want to block. Then you get curious about why the person you blocked got their panties up in such a twist and you get sucked back in when you temporarily unblock them.

Modern forum usage requires us to read with relative detachment or not to read at all. If we get sucked in by responding and starting an opinion flame war... well that's our own personal Hell that we create.

Good luck to everyone wading through these dark and dank waters.

Stephen
