Re: Name that Moog
Nice thought MV, but it may recall memories of that cheap naaasty 2-octave thing that WurliTzer stuck on their home organs in the '70s, the Orbit.Micahel Victor wrote:Now that we have all of the clues .
Any guesses on a name.
I'm sticking with Orbiter.
At least Thomas Organs had a genuine Satellite !

I've been keeping an eye on this forum, first time posting....
Nice to have a new synth and good that real analog is becoming more available again.
The new synth reminds me a bit of a Prodigy.... don't know if bob had much to do with the Prodigy when I had one, it was a nice affordable mono synth.
Prodigy II?
We'll see soon!

Amos did say that? Where?Jords wrote:But Amos is adamant that *cringe* Little Phatty is the real name, so further speculation seems redundant...?
It's been pointed out that LP is a slang term for a spliff. Not round here it isn't. It just refers to fat kids.
I just think its unfortunate that, depending on where you are, the name means a blunt or a fat kid.....not that anything is wrong with either of those....except maybe the fat kid part...
I guess it doesn't ultimately matter.
