Well are any of us really going to own a genuine Moog Vocoder ?
But this week I got great wee substitute ..anyone looking for a hardware vocoder ? I cannot recommend the Harmonix Vocoder pedal enough...
A really well thought out and accomplished pedal...sounds superb and compliments my modular ...
No more software vocoders for me.

Re: Vocoder ...
did you get the iron lung or the full on v256 (or whatever it's called). Assuming the V256, are you sending in a synth signal, or using the built in synth controlled via midi?

Re: Vocoder ...
It's the V256.....
Well thought out and versatile..internal synth via midi or just plug a gritty saw tooth in the instrumental input ....
Variable band settings ...
Good price too..I paid £129..... You certainly get a lot for your money....and the vocoder sounds ace !

Re: Vocoder ...
I bought a used Analog Labs X32 Vocoder a while back and it is all that I was hoping for and then some! Very few were made, but it is an EMS clone.
It is a 2U rack unit and has 32 bands that can be used in stereo (every other band going left and right). It has a built in VCO and LFO for modulation as well as the normal inputs for carrier and excitation.

Any chance you'd sell the Analog Lab vocoder?Bryan B wrote:I bought a used Analog Labs X32 Vocoder a while back and it is all that I was hoping for and then some! Very few were made, but it is an EMS clone.
