Favorite Moog Sound Lab performances

Post by jsharpphoto » Thu Aug 20, 2015 11:39 pm

What's your favorite performance from the Moog Sound Lab? So far, and by far, mine is "The Mother We Share" by CHVRCHES. I wish Lauren had done more with that arpeggiator than just modulate the filter (which could and should have been done through CV). Maybe use the sub phatty to modulate the MF-104M she was using on her voice, but I won't speculate as to why they didn't. I know she knows what she's doing.

What about you guys?

"Hey Mami" from "Sylvan Esso" is my favorite. A minimalistic performance with a real cool result. And Amelia is soooo cute :D

I think I preferred Phantogram’s 16 Years.

About Hey Mami, I recommend listening to the whole Sylvan Esso’s album.

The latest session in UK of Gazelle was cool too.

So many good ones! Tori y Moi, Little Dragon, Dorit Chrysler's haunting performance on the Theremin.
