Transferring Warranty

Post by Dapifer » Tue Aug 04, 2015 4:28 pm

Just wondering if anyone could give me advice here. I recently sold my Minifooger delay on Ebay to cash in for the 104m. The Minifooger is only a couple of months old but when the buyer received it the delay/feedback functions aren't working (only the drive), a similar problem was reported by a user on this forum.

Not sure how this has happened but the buyer is happy to send it back to the supplier as its still under warranty, rather than to me for a refund. Just wondering where we stand on him sending it back under his details, I don't I actually registered the warranty so he can register it under his details but the supplier I purchased from have my details for the purchase. If anyone has experience with this is it wise to explain to them the situation or for him to send it back under my name but use his return address?

If anyones a bit more clued up here about this than me advice would be greatly appreciated.
