Post by EricK » Sun Jan 29, 2006 10:44 pm

This is my first post and I wanted to describe my rig.

Im playing a Fender Rhodes 73 suitcase with a MicroMoog and an 1130 drum controller on top, a standard etherwave theremin and a roland rd-500.
Plan on having the voyager in 2 months!

WHat are you jammin on?

Alesis Ion
Laptop with Reaktor, Absynth, Moog Modular V2
All running through Mackie 1402 with Lexicon MPX550 and Line 6 EchoPro

my Rig

Post by killmesara » Mon Jan 30, 2006 1:17 am

I play a micromoog for bass drones and guitar filtering. A Fender 62 telecaster, with Big Muff, dod digital delay, dod chorus, dod buzz box, and dod supra distortion, all through the moog. alongside all of that i use any cheap radioshack / casio keyboard as a controler for my roland mc-505 and roland mc 307 groove boxes. and a roland sp 303 dr sample, everything is then run into an alesis multi mix 6 mixer.
thats my whole touring setup, minus amps and random air organs, glockenshpeils, or anything else i find at thrift stores.
you can hear some of my songs at

My setup hasn't really changed. Got the Voyager on one end, Pro-One on the other, with the Polymoog in the middle and the Prophet-5 on top of it.

Why not show us instead? Everyone is welcome to post pix of their studios in the Photos section of SquareWave (http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/Squarewave/).

Fifteen members have already posted there; how about you?

My rig is pictured @ Squarewave. But my home girl Polly Pocket wanted to show off her rig...

She plays the Arturia Minimoog V Keychain synth ( which is midi-ed to the voyager ! j/k) I think she must be the first plastic chick to rock a model D until the Lego platform underneath her gives way..

She dubs her Mini the "Polly Moog" ... Enjoy !

Hey there (formerly basssfx, now something a little more clever... :) )

Wow, I'm quite similar to Oyster!

Rhodes Mk I Suitcase
Voyager AE

EBMM Stingray 4 Bass
Ibanez Soundgear 6
Old skool Ibanez SG

Cheap Ashton acoustic bass for jamming...

Effects:
Currently MF-102 > Boss OD-3B > MF-101 > MF-103 > MF-104SD > Boss BF-3 > Digitech Whammy IV > Boss RV-5 > Boss DD-20 w/tempo FS > Volume.

Also have: Boss PS-2,3,5 TR-2, PH-3, DF-2, DOD FX-25B (filter) etc.
Here's a square metre of pedals! I now have the 103 and 104SD.

http://us.a2.yahoofs.com/groups/g_15987 ... DB9EGFq9z8

At one time I had 18 pedals in the loop (I think). The sound that came out was quite crap, so once the 'foogers arrived, I ditched most of them. They found a home with our guitarist/vocalist; they sound quite cool on his voice.

Peace out

Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.

'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

LOVE pedals! A cheap and easy way of messing with the Voyager's sound. Usually the fidelity suffers a bit, but the sound that comes out can be magical!
