Re: CP-251 schematics...?
Hey thanks for that.... but I'm already sorted.
I built a couple of the one's CZ pointed me to.... and they are ideal...!
Cheers,
Tom

@ fyvewytches, thank you so much for this link. I was actually trying to find schematics for CP-251 for a long time and this is the closest I’ve come so far. @noddyspuncture, it’s amazing to see that you’ve got a work around from CZ, it’ll be really great if you can point me in the right direction as well since I’m in a similar situation as you. Would it be possible for you to please post some pictures and information about the circuit you built and what tuning parameters you used?

Re: CP-251 schematics...?
Hi, yeah sure.
I built this circuit: http://www.synthfool.com/ebay/revattnnabag2.jpg
But I needed a 'finer' control, not as extreme end-to-end, so what I did was change the pot's value to a lower one - say 1K (instead of 10K) and I also placed a couple of 5K trimmers either end of the track... so for my purpose the pot only varies the tuning by around +/- 5 semitones.
I used trimmers so that I could centre the pot and then trim in the 'dead' zone - ie: zero output.
And it works really well...;c)
Cheers,
Tom

noddyspuncture, I tried to find the service manual and found that link: http://www.manualsdir.com/manuals/27967 ... tml?page=3.
Hopefully it will work for you.

Kevin actually designed that circuit while working on my four space module. I really miss him.noddyspuncture wrote:Hi, yeah sure.
