Yea I guess it's a silly question when you apply the logic.

Actually -

"SP" is the abbreviation that has been used in the Moog manuals for the Slim Phatty for quite some, long before the Sub Phatty even existed.
I think perhaps the "SP" abbreviation for the Sub is generally only being used by Sub Phatty owners who might be new to Moog synthesizers.

Yeah, I know, nit-picky, but interchanging the abbreviation between the two synths does lead to a bit of forum confusion at times...
Little Phatty Solar CV, Minitaur, Slim Phatty (x2), MF-101, MF-102, MF-103, MF-104M, MF-105M, MF-108M, CP-251 (x2), Animoog app, Filtatron app, Model D app, Model 15 app...and some 5U modular and Doepfer stuff...

I just assumed that as only the Sub p can be chained with the Sub37 people would know I was referring to the ...SP. :)

You'd need a lot of studio real estate and money to start chaining these I guess, hopefully the modules will appear in the not too distant future. Still looking forward to hearing some demos of this poly action. Oh and just pre-ordered the Sub37, roll on May (hopefully).
