Now please put those looping envelope generators and VCA in a CP format.
I doubt they will build anything pure analog again. It seems all of their new products are digitally controlled. Which is fine, but will probably rule out any CV processors. A digital MF CV generator like the MP-201 could be cool though.

The price includes R&D, which is pretty much all taken care of in an "update". Most of the stuff was already implemented under the hood, so it was just a matter of creating digital controls, which are relatively cheap. What a product though, I bet Bob would be proud.

Agreed. It seems to really deserve the name "Tribute".

Sub 37 pre-ordered! If any of you are interested, you can email Stacey to get your name on the list.

I have to say, after watching the sonic state video now twice this sub 37 really seems like a grand slam...robust feature set, arpeggiator, 2 mod busses, paraphonic, step sequencing. What more could you really ask for in a synth at this price point?! Color me impressed.

a Sine Wave on one of the LFO's would be nice.. hopefully by may we'll have that CV out. :)

it'd be nice if they could fit a ribbon controller on, but I thinking it probably won't happen..

I'd rather chant: PolySynth, PolySynth, PolySynth...

Nop, not quite the same as yelling it in person...

Will a chanting mob lynch me if a dare to venture running a soft synth through an audio in for analogue processing and playing it with with MIDI from the same Moog device (e.g. Sub 37)?

Looks like the 37 still has more knobs than keys, just like the Sub Phatty :D

Sweetwater says the count is at 37 keys, 40 knobs and 74 switches..

aftertouch, 256 presets, priced under $1500, etc. the sub37 is everything i could have hoped for and more. only disappointment is the lack of cv outs, but i guess they wanted to avoid completely surpassing the voyager? hopefully there will at least be a factory mod available, but kind of a pain nonetheless.... i'd rather just pay a little more from the outset (though i could see how it's not something most potential customers care about). it's not too late to revise that prototype, moog!

If it's the tribute, it should have Bob's signature on the extrusion like the Phatty. I always liked that about the original Phatty.
