New Poly in Preparation

Post by megavoice » Thu Aug 08, 2013 3:37 pm

Hi my lads and girls,

Just wanna let you share in some way to these good news I've got recently.
Some people are working now heavily on the continuing of an old vintage polysynth of the early days.
I don't know, if it'll be an upgraded version or a completely new conception or anything else. But it's definitivly in work. Of course, it's no Moog I'm talking about.
For me it's also not to forsee when it'll be released. But with my impression it won't be tomorrow or next year, but I can also be wrong with this.
Excuse me please, when I don't tell you the name of, as I think I'm not allowed for. If someone else does, it's his own business.
What I can assure firmely, it's in no way a rumour, it's definitively true and real.
Why am I doing this here in the Moog-Forum ?
Because I'd like to enjoy with all of you out there this fantastic news, and secondly, I wanna set in some way some fire under the asses of the Moog-guys to start to compete and move now into the "Poly-direction", if the've not already started.

ENJOY AND BE LUCKY WITH ME !!!!

I've never seen any real prom queen here in my country, but if we had some they'd
**** with everyone.

In all seriousness, I'd bet my left arm that it's a Korg. I can't think of any other major synth manufacturer besides Moog that's bothered to revive any of their old designs.

Moog does own the copyright to the ARP name. At least, they did in 2010. I'm not sure what the status on that is now. Chroma Polaris is great too. Pretty modern as far as features are concerned.
