Say hello to Low Lane!
This a project that started entirely on a Moog Sub 37. Me and a long time collaborator sat down and started playing with ideas, with the Sub 37 as a starting point. The result evolved beyond just the Sub, and became something bigger than first expected, but we went along with it (I see it as proof of the inspiration within Moog products)!
It became something raw, dynamic and spontaneous - four extreme songs that roller coast through kraut, punk and avant garde.
The lyrics are a smooth blend of stream of consciousness nursery rhymes dadistically blended with passages from random pages of books that speak directly to the center of your being.
This first release will take you through the atmosphere to the center of the macrocosm and back again. Enjoy! And stay tuned for the coming releases!

This is a very rough and sloppily played tribute to seb17320's excellent "Mos-Lab 15 demo" video I posted a couple of weeks back. I wanted to see if I could pull-off something close using three Moog Mother-32s. The playing is really rough (due to attempting to play a solo on the little buttons instead of keys) the sequence is not very close to the original, and the video editing in general is crap (I couldn't figure out how to do Seb's 4-way split screen) but I hope everyone can appreciate the spirit that this demo was intended in! I used a touch of Valhalla VintageVerb on each part.

i also really like your "something simple" video, i've watched/listened to it many times. makes me want to buy mother-32 too

My latest cover of a 1979 song called Moskow Diskow by Belgian group Telex. It might bring back memories for some of you. Done on Minimoog D, Ensoniq SQ-80, Alesis Ion (Vocoder) and DR-880.

Don't do too much "pure" music these days, but I thought that I'd post two short pieces anyway:

Monumental is a multi-track recording of the Studio Electronics Boomstar 5089.
This is a desktop synthesizer with discrete components (MIDI and digital LFO though) and a transistor ladder filter (I believe it uses a variant similar to the Source).

Rising Wind is another multi-track recording, but of the Boomstar SE80 (with Yamaha CS-80 filter).
Except for different filter implementations the Boomstars are identical.
I've also used a drumloop from my music recording software in this piece.

The Space Between Us is an album / EP with five songs in one way or another interprets space , from space between us humans and the universe's unfathomable space (as if no space between us humans would be unimaginable big enough) .

On the album , I use almost exclusively analog monophonic synthesizers and effects made ​​by Moog , which are often recorded " live" without direct retakes .
