My latest (re)creation. A cover of this well known song called Night Drive from G. Moroder's film score on American Gigolo.

Not 100% faithful, but rather my own interpretation of it. Sequencer used only for some tracks. Many other tracks played by hand live.
Instrument used: Minimoog D (of course), Ensoniq SQ80, DR-880 (with TR-707 kit).

Enjoy. Comments, good or bad, welcome.

Listened to it on my crappt laptop speakers so I won't comment on the sound here: goooooood groove, really :)
Well, the lead appeared to me as being a bit dry, was it?...

Sounds really good, I loved the atmosphere. The ethereal guitars are amongst these stuffs that makes a winner track to me.
Bravo :)

I had to get out of a blue funk and get back into the studio. So to break the demon, I revisited something I wrote a few years back and rerecorded it today. Voyager, DR-770 and Jaguar.

Most of my stuff is packed up for home renovations. Just MachineDrum and x0xb0x, through the Octatrack (mixer and effects). Two bar loop jam.

Funky jam with the OT doing live sampling-playback from the MD and x0x.

Nice tracks, fellas. I left some feedback on your Soundclouds.

Well, seeing as how this is the official "share your synthesizer music" thread, I will repost some links I placed in a thread I started elsewhere.

Please take a moment to watch my latest music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp8sau9W-g4

I'm also on Soundcloud and have a few pieces up: http://soundcloud.com/sinedrifter

I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have. Thanks in advance and happy new year to you all! :mrgreen:

Hello all,
I have a new EP of remixes up on Bandcamp (pay what you want). I hope you like it!

All tracks were sequenced and mixed in Cubase 6.5 on a Mac. As well as employing a variety VST synths and effects, a Minitaur, Voyager RME, Vermona Kick Lancet, Korg Monotribe, Roland TB-303, and a Roland SH-1 were all used in the production of these tracks.

@Unitard

I listened to "Late night and weekends" and liked it. A bizarre style, but it sounded smooth as it moved from one motif to another. "Dot Pattern" was less smooth and felt like more of a sound collage than a traditionally structured track. I liked them both - you have a unique style and I praise the creativity needed to make such work.

Well done! :mrgreen:

@misterpete

the car wash song has such great ambience. I don't know how you did it (only Taurus and Animoog, or did you add samples too?), but it really sounded like a "musically interesting" car wash! Your poet's piece was brilliant. I felt like a movie was playing in an adjacent room and I was listening to the action from afar... like a Terry Gilliam movie.

The other song about Creme Brulee was also very enjoyable. I feel like your music, while being your art, also has a certain sense of humor. I might be wrong in my assessment, but that's what I see. Very abstract... kind of surreal.
