This is a rough improvised track I did today for a new project I recently started called "Science Patrol". Instruments used: DSI Mono Evolver Keyboard, Moog Sub 37 and Moog Theremini. I started this project specifically for a live performance I'm doing next month in Portland Oregon at the Volt Divers synth collective (all hardware synths, no computers!)

Here is a remix (or rather re-arrangement) of Tara Busch's "Motorcrash". Instruments used: Minitaur, Sub 37, Prophet '08, Evolver, and Volca Beats.

I've had a Sub 37 for a couple of weeks, and it's more versatile than I expected. And I expected a lot. But I haven't been able to get the kind of acid sounds I have wanted. Until yesterday, when I finally realized that the 6 dB filter makes all the difference.

Here's a quick recording of a live jam with Elektron Octatrack, which provides only the kick drum and hihats. Everything else is from the Sub 37, which goes through a Strymon Timeline dTape delay. The Sub 37 plays a 32-step sequence with a few ties.

Here is a piece of Minimal/concrete Analog music that i made with the Sub 37 (the main sequence, without arp or sequencer, just the use of both LFO's) and other stuffs such as a memorymoog+ for the bass on the left channel and bells, a juno 60 and some samples from an old Emulator 2 that i owned in the 80's.
It's a bit darky, a bit freaky but you can hear what you can also get with the S37  (Especially with the filter at 6db and the extensive use of both LFO Mod sources)

Had a break while files were out with the client, and decided to try an ambient textural piece (inspired by the many awesome contributions to this thread).

https://soundcloud.com/michael-h-geimer/ambient-analog

Sub37 (left) plays latched arpeggio, Microbrute (right) plays sequenced notes. Roland TR-505 sends MIDI clock and also is heard through the Audio Inputs of each synth. Microbrute sends CV control to Minifooger MF-Delay to create high/lo repeats in tempo.

That is just an unplanned skecth to see what various tones sounded like. Stream of consciousness stuff here...
Voyager left>Echoplex Ep-4> Vermona VSR3 reverb, panned left
Voyager right>Roland RE-301> AKG BX10 reverb, panned right.

If an atmospheric voyage interests you, climb aboard the mighty Minimoog D along with the EHX Cathedral for a small sonic trip ! Relax, let yourself go for a moment...and enjoy !
