I must connect my Dark Time to the Sub Phatty.
Nice sounds!

These tracks are incidental music to be placed between songs on my friend's forthcoming album.
More horror stuff but this time with a space-theme. Think "Alien"! Think possible intro to Voivod's "Forgotten in Space". Enjoy!
Every sound you hear is Moog Sub Phatty.

Damn, now i need a Minitaur :-)
You have some great music on your Soundcloud! I somehow never understood that your tune "Exporation" was possible on the Minitaur. Very cool!

Thanks for listening to my stuff and your kind words! I did two more songs in a similar vein yesterday. One has guitar but the rest is just the Sub Phatty. I'll maybe post them tonight.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes I agree, buying a Minitaur will never hurt :D I am now saving up for the Sub 37 and will decide if there's too much overlap once I can play them both next to each other - quite happy I didn't buy a Sub Phatty yet (although it's a very capable synth of it's own especially at that price).

Kenneth, we haven't heard your P6 in awhile. Did you sell it?

Yeah, I did. I loved the sound of it but there were other aspects I was not so fond of. The keybed feels terrible (just like the DW8000, Poly800, Poly61...), no glide, and kept having to have my contacts cleaned (twice in six months? NO.)

So I'm in the market for something else. Probably something modern. Looking at the Prophet 12 and trying to decide if I want to spend the money. I do miss the lush and luscious sound of the Polysix though. :(

Have you looked at the Poly Evolver? I don't have one myself, but I'm always impressed when I hear them in a song: they sound much bigger than four voices.

The Prophet 12 works very well, it can sound warm and full or bright. It's a very tweakable synth and I think you will find it fits in well with your other synths. The prophet 08 is also worth a look.

I have spent a good bit of time with the polyevolver, but being limited to 4 voices on a modern synthesizer is frustrating. I like the P12 a lot though...

My latest jam on Minimoog D and Alesis Ion (recorded a while back). With the help of DR-880 (in TR-707 mode), and a double panned delay...
I'm having a hard time describing its style... What do you think ? Reggae ? Marimba ? Merengue ? I don't know... I just wrote "electronic" as the style...

I like it! Also a nice occasion to revisit some of your earlier pieces, including this collaboration with Kenneth:

Put this together for a science lab over on Elektronauts. The restrictions were MachineDrum only and use only two sequencer steps. No samples or resampling, i have an SPS-1. All rhythms and textures created using LFOs, retrig, internal delay, and a few manually triggered sounds. SoundCloud download is a .wav if you want to here it without file compression.

Just a couple of simple sequencer programming ideas...

I got my new dot.com Q960 and installed the duty cycle mod and then spent a while building and playing around with a small interface circuit so the Q960 would reliably trigger my Korg SQ-10 using it's 'step input'... it wasn't doing so accurately at first. Once I sorted that, I then played around with them. The Q960 is controlling a Minimoog and the SQ-10 an MS-20

Cheers,
Tom

I missed this until now. What are you using for strings, Casper?
