Share your synthesizer music!

Post by Kenneth » Tue Nov 06, 2012 1:42 pm

I have discovered some wonderful music through talking to you folks, and I want to keep up on your endeavors!

I was unable to find any sort of general music sharing thread under "Moog General Topics Forum", so here it is. Let's use this to post any music you have recorded that makes use of synthesizers (not necessarily Moog).

I just finished this tune today. Everything was tracked over the past week or so, and mixing was completed this morning. This is a lot more energetic than most of what I've done in the past, and I'd like to hear what others think of it.

Now let's hear yours!

Excellent idea, Kenneth :)

I come back as soon as I've listened to it... and with some links!

Thanks for sharing!

Here is some of my weirdness. This first one is made with only Moogerfoogers. I started with noise and built it until I could use the signal for both control and audio.

This one is more like what I do for amusement around here.

Here is a more 'accessable' piece.

And my favorite piece. I use it for meditations.

They are all a bit longish but then, I'm not a pop musician.

Wacked out video, as always! The song is AWESOME. That drum rhythm is wicked.

I really enjoyed these. Have you ever done any music for film? I can see this fitting really well with some experimental stuff. Awesome, rich, beautiful textures. :)

Also great, filtered! In addition to that, I enjoyed the video!

And, actually, everyone else. It is really refreshing to listen to music on a synth forum that isn't just your standard "I'm on the internet and I churn out beatz" sort of music. Everyone is making interesting and nice-sounding music!

I'm always up for sharing music. Here's one of the first things I recorded with my first synth, a Micromoog through MF-103 phaser: http://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/philtre-927

This one's later, with Rogue instead: http://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/next-to-last

One more track, one more synth! Little Phatty being controlled by Roland bass pedals - the lead is fuzz bass through MF-101 low pass filter being controlled by CP-251: http://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/terminous

This is fun, now I have more music to dig through and people to follow on soundcloud!

Loving everything that's popping up here. :)

I'm excited to announce that I released my very first full-length album today. Here's the link:

I'm glad we can band together and support each other like this. I wish I knew you guys in real life.
