Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Some test done a while back.
Starts with the Korg MP4 with a simulated echo done with an LFO on the filter cutoff, then the Minimoog D and drums (played by hand on pads) arrive, followed by Ion brass.
It only requires a minute of your time. Thanks for listening, and hope you like it.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Thanks David.
The reason for everything having been played by hand, even the drums, is that I had to follow the speed of the LFO on the MP4 and had no way to synchronize the drum machine to it...
In retrospect, I could have used a real delay on the MP4 part and synchronized everything to the drum machine. But the "inspiration" of the moment would have been lost, as well as the "live" feel of this short demo.

Time signature? 7/4! or.. 7/8 depending on how you count the riff There are also some transitions over to 4/4, but is basically 7/4 all the way through.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
beena while since i shared anything, hope you guys like this.
The main riff is one of my voyager rme's + moog delay. I am not completely happy with this myself, but I am working on it. I like how expressive this can be from time to time. I want to work on that feeling some more.

Nice John, that was bad ass! Nice ending too. Always like the combo of played percussion and synthesizers. Thanks for sharing! Very inspiring.JohnLRice wrote:Here's my latest. It features the new Moon Modular 501D dual VCO and 506 VCF+VCA which may interest some of you here:

I've had the Moog 1130 percussion controller since 1975. Always popular back then with drummers/percussionists. I have patched step sequencers to advance on every drum strike with the 1130. (Human clock) With the combo of a Taurus II pedal to transpose the sequence, hours of fun.
Seeing you play that drum by hand was a real flashback for me to those mid 70's jam sessions. Can't tell you how many "space jams" we had with the 1130 pounding out very expressive Minimoog bass lines. Kind of like sample/hold type rhythms, with filter opening up more the harder the 1130 is struck. Always thought artists like Carl Palmer or Billy Cobham were on the cutting edge back then with percussion synthesizers. Still room for more experimental synthesizer percussion, especially patched into a modular setup.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
I recently recorded a song using only the Minitaur and my guitar. I write a lot of music in a 70´s/80´s horror movie score genre.
