My humble cover of this Genesis song from the album Abacab. Tony Banks used a Prophet 5, but I used a Minimoog D, a Prophet REV2, a VC-340 and a DeepMind 12, along with a Univox SR-95.

Enjoy.

An international collaboration between Paul G (in England) and me (TheAlien666 in Canada). He did the music, I did the Vocoder. It's a cover of Man On The Corner from Genesis done on synths.
The vocoder is the VP-330, uh sorry I mean the VC-340.
Enjoy !

There's also this song cover, Keep It Dark from Genesis, which I produced entirely using the good old Minimoog D, and a few other machines.

Playing Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 - Prelude on a Minimoog Voyager.

Quite happy with this one. It’s a music that I love, but couldn’t ever play it because I’m not a cello player.

Nicely done! :D

What was the preset that you used for that piece?

Thank you Greg!

It’s a custom one, pretending to be a cello. The secret is to use not only the envelope for filter, but also for the waveform, controlled by velocity (shaping), it’s very subtle, but makes all the difference.

Cheers!

Here's a partial cover of Blondie's Heart Of Glass, done with 2 vintage drum machines (Univox SR-95 and Roland TR-77), the Moog Minimoog, Behringer DM12 and VC340 Vocoder. All synchronized by hand and ear (no MIDI in 1970's). The Minimoog bass line was done using oscillator 3 as LFO filter modulation with sawtooth waveform, again synchronized by hand.

Enjoy, rate, comment.

I sold my first synth - a Micromoog I bought in 2002 - this is the last thing I ever recorded with it, the morning I sold it:

https://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/stanagram

It's just a bass-pedal-synth kind of part that I overdubbed, so simplistic compared to a lot of the amazing stuff people post here. But I think it sounds pretty good 'n' nasty - I ran it through a Budda Phat Man distortion.

As I noted in the "post your latest gear purchase" thread, I have replaced the Micro with a Sirin! Looking forward to experimenting with that.

This is a piece performed I performed live recently where all sounds, effects and ambience were created exclusively on the Moog One, and recorded directly to my iPad.
Headphones recommended.

Here's a link to an earlier track where the Moog One is used in a more modular context with some overdubbing, also recorded directly to my iPad.
Again, headphones recommended.
