They have a Minimoog Model D at the Kenosha WI Music Go Round. $3600, in case anyone is interested. I am, but I'm a bit short at the moment.

I need some time to go look at it. It looks kind of rough in the picture. I'm interested in hearing if the pots are scratchy and if the keyboard needs rebushing.

I drive past there going to work.
I will stop in and report.
Out of my budget now.
I am saving for something... haven't decided what yet though. Maybe fill out my DotCom. The new Dave Smith Tempest looks neat.
Depending on how tired I am, I will hit there tonight. (I work 68.5 hours a week)

I was able to stop in last night.
$3600 seems steep to me for that synth.
It was on the main cashier's table and i was quite suprised thast is was quite dusty.
They never cleaned it up, or even dusted it.
It would look way nicer if cleaned.
The synth is old, and shows wear.
Multiple scratches in the wood, but nothing too deep.
It may have been toured with, but not heavily abused.
The guy told me flat out that he would be suprised if it ever sold.

Aww poor moog...I'd be willing to foster it until it found a permanent home

This is the same place that sold an out of tune Micromoog with a crumbling side panel for $550. They also sold a Prodigy with missing slider caps for $740. I am therefore not surprised that they are asking so much. I'm sure if it doesn't sell, the owner or manager will bring it home and fix it up for his personal collection.
