(complete with mini sequencer)

It's not cheap but I believe it's worth it...

Bob Moog will have had his Voyager, and Tom Oberheim his Oberheim 2 Voice Pro...
Funny how they're both priced about the same though...

I'm convinced that if Bob would still be with us, he'd probably call Tom and get one for himself... :D

Thanks for the heads-up!

hmmm indeed. I asked him if he will be packaging and selling the Sequencer and pan module separately.

"No, it will be too expensive..."

I don't know what 'too expensive is' but I would wager that folks would be willing to pay $1000 for that; that being a 16 step sequencer with memory, the ability to plug any two analog voices into it for Duophonic, split, or control plus songs, etc.

I'm guessing it has more to do with having to provide tech support for all of the folks that are trying to wire up (internally) SEMs. I've got one (the Midi version) and have opened it up with grand designs of wiring up a master patch panel at some point. "Some point" still has not come.

But yeah, this thing looks great.

This thing looks wonderful. I want one badly. I would rather have the New Two Voice then the SOFV. But that's just me. And then I saw this http://www.studioelectronics.com/produc ... /boomstar/ . The Arp 4075 filter model also has me twitching. It's not fair I tell you.

Pitch and mod wheels. This might be actually be better than the original. The new SEM's sound pretty identical to the old ones to my ears. Hmmm what should I sell?

Looks pretty incredible. The patch points for each step in the sequencer to use with the patch points (at least that's what it looks like) is what has my interest the most.

to justify the expense I'd have to actually use the sequencer in what I do, which is mostly either live performing with bands, or recording sans click tracks with drums being laid down first; both scenarios in which a sequencer wouldn't really be used much if at all-
but if I had a spare 3400$ laying around, that's where it'd go!
