Can you help a Mooger out?
Can you help a Mooger out?
Hi all,
Does anyone here have a decent camera and a Moog Prodigy that doesn't mind posing for a photo?
The Moog graphics folks are wanting to do something with the Prodigy logo, but we don't have a Prodigy here in our collection. Just need a clear straight-on shot of the PRODIGY name on the panel.
If you can help, let me know at amos at moog music dotcom. Thank you very much!

Probably a new T-shirt.

I think I hear the mothership coming.

Re: Can you help a Mooger out?
A Prodigy II would be very cool, a cross between a LP and a VOS. I want knobs not presets.
Re: Can you help a Mooger out?
So Amos, this begs the question: Just what do you have in your collection?Amos wrote:

Re: Can you help a Mooger out?
Our collection includes serial# 1 of all the current Moog Music gear, a Model D or two, and a few things from Bob's personal collection of stuff, like some ARP educational modules and a complete Synton modular synth (System 2000). Bob used to be the US distributor for Synton.
I don't actually know what the synth images are for, although it's much likelier to be a t-shirt than a re-issue synth (I'd know about that, I hope)
Those images are great and are totally doing the job, whatever it is, they tell me...
one more request? Seems like they are doing something creative with the Source graphics as well, and once again the internet doesn't seem to be coming up with high-enough resolution images (and we don't have a Source here, yet, either). Can anyone provide any high-res pictures of the Source?
Thanks so much! You all are great.

Re: Can you help a Mooger out?
The instrument or the logo?
Not many ARP educational modules around, they weren't made for very long.
No Memorymoog? He had one back in the Big Briar days.

That unit went to the Bob Moog Foundation, so it's still in the family...MC wrote:No Memorymoog? He had one back in the Big Briar days.
I think they're looking for the whole instrument, so they can redraw it in vector format or some such. Sounded like the direction of the project might be influenced by what kind of imagery they could get.

Let's just say it's in a good safe place where I can adore it.Amos wrote:That unit went to the Bob Moog Foundation, so it's still in the family...

Re: Can you help a Mooger out?
I have a somewhat functional 8 megapixel Olympus digicamera. Would that be hi-res enough for the Source fotos?
If so, what specific angles/views are you looking for?
