I think I remember when this thread was started, but I believe this is the first time I'm posting in it - I GOT A SIRIN!

Image

Traded in the first synth I ever bought - a Micromoog - for it. I've used a Rogue and Little Phatty as a poor man's Taurus, and was an early adopter of the T3 and loved it but it was just too big so I sold it several years ago. Tried using my MFB Synth LIte II for small footprint Taurus-y stuff in a live situation, but it didn't quite cut it.

Actually thinking of getting the McMillen 12 step too, but not necessary for the time being. Now I just need to figure out how to program it and select programs via MIDI...

I owned a Micromoog many years ago but sold it Still like Moog sound so have just bought the new Matriarch.

Inspired in part by Chris Stack's terrific 'Experimental Synth' videos, a new addition to my project studio: the Korg Minilogue XD

After decades (!) of being 2" tape based, I have jumped into PreSonus Studio One Artist 4.6, with projected Professional & FaderPort upgrades (as soon as I can get somewhat comfortable with current version)
Having a BLAST, with something new to conquer every day.
Update -- FaderPortv2 just arrived. It 's a nifty addition to Studio One (this is turning out to be a slippery slope. . .)
Update -- Studio One Professional
btw, does anyone have comments about Omnisphere one way or the other?
. . .

That's kinda short, isn't it? :D

(Sad but true, a punk bass player did actually reply with that many years ago)

Now that's funny -- I am going to try programming my Sub37 to say "Bwah ha-ha"
(Back in the 70s, I had my Odyssey saying "How are you?")

An 1130 Drum controller. This was and is in amazing condition. One wire to a pot needed re-soldering. The skin is still in excellent shape.

This is an 1150 ribbon controller I restored from two. I made a custom two piece aluminum panel to replace the horrible plastic one Moog used. I may have posted this before.

Moog Vocoder. What a fascinating device and the patching capabilities are unique and wonderful.
