Thanks for the tips guys! I'll check out those oscillators.

As for 10 Q106 oscillators; it seems like a nice round number :D . Seriously though I plan to build quite an extensive system and I figure that the modular could act as several smaller synthesizers given enough duplication of modules (VCOs, VCFs and VCAs not to mention supporting modules). Throw in some sequencers and you've got a real party happening. I really enjoy listening to artists who's rigs sound like they are a whole electronic orchestra unto themselves.

Regarding the PAiA 9720... Jeff at GuitarFool.com has done some really cool stuff with his 9720s. He's re-mounted them in a Dotcom quad panel onto which he's screened a redesigned graphic. He also replaced those dinky little 1/8" jacks with man-size 1/4" jacks. Check it out (2 upper left modules)...

I've got my quad panel in stock and my graphic ready to screen. I just have to work on my silkscreen technique before I give it a go.

Foxrox TZF2-- Purple w/3-position toggle for Vibrato setting. Epic pedal. Does some very cool tape warble sounds with the Voyager using patches with medium attack times and the envelope control on the TZF2 between 11-12 o-clock.

Sweetwater was part of the Black Friday sale with Moog. $3995 shipped. It just took 7 weeks.

It must be a glitch with updating from my phone. It has done that several times. If you click on the image, it displays correctly. The interwebs are smarter than me sometimes.

Had a look, and listen, at that Parva.
100% analog, 8 voices, 8 parts multi-timbral, 3 oscillators per voice, 2 filters per voice, 4 envelopes, 8 individual outputs, 4 LFOs per voice, polyphonic aftertouch, and all in a 10" x 8" x 3" box ?! 8) Could it be the ultimate modern polyphonic analog synth I am waiting for ?? :D

And only $1K :?: :!:

I can only say: WOW !

Actually it's all pretty comfortable. The top row is just slightly higher than eye level, when seated, and below eye level when standing. Usually if I have someone come over and write music with me, one of us will sit at the voyager and the other will handle all of the other gear.

I ran out of space in my 22 space Dotcom cabinet. I had 2 new modules sitting on the shelf which is the saddest place for new modules.

Because the Canadian dollar is so low I opted to have a 44 space cabinet built locally rather than purchasing a Dotcom cabinet. Their stuff is awesome but with the exchange I'd be looking at WELL over a grand Canadian. The design we used was based on Yves Usson's 66 space cabinet.

I have to say I am really pleased with the job they did and with the color match on the Walnut.

I moved my modules around and installed the 2 new ones (another Q106 Oscillator and an Oberheim SEM VCF work-alike which I built).

So now I have a pile of extra spaces which I have to fill up. To that end I'm working on an Oakley Equinoxe phase shifter, Oakley Classic VCA and a Cat Girl Synth CGS01 Sub Oscillator. More on those when they're built.
