Yeah! Totally! They go well together too. This is actually my second one  I got it for BEAD tuning
Here it is with my 77 4001

The colors I ended up with somehow in a sick twisted way mix metal and anime fixations
Nice pair of Rics! Love the colors.

Here's a shot of mine.. 73 well-loved Jetglo with the early features, and a 78 Mapleglo.

Thinking about selling the 78 at some point (had that one since the late-80s), and would love to get my hands on a 4003s/8 8-string...
NICE! Those 8stringers are super rare, I hope you find one. I wanted to find a five but they go for more then what both of mine cost...

Those Rik's sure are nice. I'm a Fender guy but man, Geddy Lee is one of my faves and seeing a few pairs of these really makes me want one. You guys likely heard it already but there's an isolated Bass and Vocal track on YouTube of Ged playing Oracle or part of 2112 or something complete with that Rik clacking. Love it.

I got these antiques from Banaue, Philippines, which is where I've been for the past three weeks:

Image

These from the Ifugao culture are played as an ensemble during special occasions. The lead gong is beat with a clenched fist and slapped like a conga, while the other two accompanying gongs are played with mallets on the underside.

Bone handles on the two, but I don't think these are human.

Heres an example:

I think I hear the mothership coming.

I also recently got something else besides my keyboards to play through my foogers!

P.S. I like your Gongs Erik! One day I want to get one as big as the 'Rank Arena' one!

Thanks Stiiiiiiive! Work & family life has been so busy the last few months that I have not had much energy for anything else, but I'm on holidays now! The challenge is not to waste the time I have!

It can get pretty humid in Queensland, but at least it's usually warmer than down here inMelbourne, it's not humid as such here at the moment, just bloody cold and damp!

I love Melbourne!

Recently lived in Fitzroy North for about five years, been up here for the last two, and yes it is allot warmer at the moment :D but it just seems to bloody rain all the time!

The dehumidifier pulled 10 liters of water out of this room over night

Healthy investment for my electronic family... the wife thought I bought it for the living area

A Ring Mod to go with my Freq Box. Guess a Midi-MuRF and Minitaur are next, as well as a CP-251. This could go on and on I suppose.
