I use a Yamaha MW10c with an external Lexicon. Some SoundCrafts mixers have Lexicon effects built in.

I don't know about the internal effects of the MG82c, but overall, Yamaha is good stuff. At 80 bucks, you can't go wrong if the mixer is top shape.

If I saw a Yamaha mixer in good shape for $80, I'd get it. My best friend swears by Yamaha and Peavey. :) I swear by what's good quality and affordable.

The built-in effects on the yamaha mixers are pretty awful . . .

It depends on if you go full-throttle with them. If you add just a little FX here and there, they aren't bad. If you take them all the way to 11, yeah, they're pretty cheesy.

Yeah,I thought so,$80.00!.I'll be happy when I Make the final LP payment so I can get a second monitor. Then I can put the mixer to use.
Next,Minitaur,ring mod....my god,it doesn't seem to end.At least it's better than narcotics.

Narcotics are cheaper, though. I have an LP with roadcase, three 'Foogers, and a Taurus III with roadcase, which was bought sight unseen. About $6k, or a little more than 10% of my annual salary. Now, I'm moving away from Moog for a bit, and building a .com modular...that will never end, I'm sure, considering I have it planned for 20 modules, and will only be able to afford one or two modules a pay period. :( I'm $300 into just the case already, though it will be the coolest looking case ever! 8) So yeah, analog synths are addictive.

I've looked into .com also, but being a frostback, the shipping must be murderous. The starter kit is damn tempting though, and I love the clicky sounding oscillator knobs.Roger has an impeccable rep. . Voltor07, some photos of your developing modular,[oh my god, that sounds wrong!],
would be cool.

When I get the case built completely, I will have pics. There are two cases, a top and bottom. The bottom is going to be the housing for my long-anticipated (by me) Voltor Box 2.0.
